Comvita - Mixed Reality Honey Tasting
I collaborated with Blur The Lines to design and deliver a groundbreaking Mixed Reality Experience for Comvita’s Dubai World Expo Pavilion. Tasked with creating a honey-tasting experience within a limited space, we reimagined the concept using Microsoft HoloLens 2 technology. The result was an immersive augmented reality journey where visitors, guided by a 3D beekeeper host, were transported to a vibrant forest environment complete with flying bees. This innovative approach allowed guests to seamlessly explore and taste honey while interacting with a 3D world overlaid onto their physical surroundings.
The project’s unique blend of multi-sensory technology and storytelling captured global attention, leading Microsoft to produce an extensive case study that showcased the experience and its innovative application of mixed reality. This collaboration not only elevated Comvita’s brand presence but also demonstrated the transformative potential of AR in creating memorable, space-efficient experiences.
